We all have things that we carry from our past into our daily behaviours. Unfortunately, self-defeating logic may dictate that if you are the common denominator of your life, then it all has to be your fault, even though it’s not.
This experience provides insight on how to break the history loop that can trap you from moving on. You will be guided to look at things more holistically, seeing your entire self, not just the past. If you only look at negative things, then those negative things can become a part of your personality and that may keep you in an emotional bind where life becomes more difficult than it needs to be.
During this experience we help you train your brain for healthy thoughts, by creating positive imprints in your mind. By learning how to evaluate your old thoughts and letting the waves of the present wash away their negative imprint, your mind can be ready to create fresh, positive thoughts, leading you on your new path today.
Trusting After Failure
It can be difficult to trust yourself, your abilities and your instincts after you feel the sting of failure. The noise your mind can make about the mistake, is deafening.
This experience is all about how to get up when you think you have failed and turning it into a learning experience. It focuses on feeling the pain but gaining back self-confidence and allowing the experience to become an evolution of growth and acceptance.
When you see the pain and failure as stepping-stones, you being to journey back to trust yourself once more.
As we go through life, we accumulate experiences. Some that are good and some that are not. We carry these experiences with us wherever we go, taking them with us to new jobs and into new relationships. If these experiences are positive and supportive, or they shed some useful knowledge for future experiences, their burden is light and worth bringing with you. But if the experiences are negative or filled with past glories, the weight of these memories can be a liability, tainting a fresh experience with an irrelevant perspective or keeping us captive in old memories and not building on the old glories to create new successes.
This session explores what you bring with you in your everyday Carry-On Baggage. You will identify what is useful and what needs to be unpacked to keep your baggage light and useful. You will understand why the brain holds on to certain memories and learn techniques that will help you to evaluate what you will choose to take with you, in order to be successful, moving forward on your life journey.
Follow Your Instincts
So often we’re told to “Just follow your instincts,” but what does it actually mean and more importantly, how do you do it?
We all have had setbacks that occasionally make us question our instincts. But our instincts are a critical barometer to measure life’s decisions. If we don’t believe in our decision-making abilities, we will be hampered from reaching goals and may miss amazing opportunities.
Follow Your Instincts, provides perspective on why you are questioning your thoughts and actions. Learn how the brain absorbs information and how it responds by emitting neurotransmitters that are expressed in the body as emotions, that make us feel happy and satisfied or upset and disappointed. You will gain greater knowledge on the root of why you question your decisions. Learn techniques that will help you build trust in your decision-making abilities and allow you to follow your instincts in the future
Your intuition is like your own personal guiding star, but there are many obstructers that can cloud your vision. Once you’re aware of them, you’ll catch yourself when you’re headed in the wrong direction for the wrong reasons so you can then take the appropriate steps to realign with your intuition.
