Loss can bring about a host of emotions including anxiety, anger, loneliness and hopelessness. How to be a support to someone experiencing loss is a critical life skill. You will be called, at some point in your life, to answer the need to support someone, with rarely adequate time to prepare.
This session introduces the state of loss, from the grievers perspective and sets guidelines as to what words and actions are most supportive and which can trigger unintentional emotional spirals. Understanding from their point of view is the beginning, learning how to walk with them through the valleys in life, is invaluable.
