1. Eligibility & Age Restrictions
VRBrain™ is intended for individuals 13 years of age or older. By using VRBrain™, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
2. No Medical or Therapy Advice
VRBrain™ provides educational and wellness-focused experiences based on cognitive-behavioral principles.

3. Third-Party Hardware Disclaimer
VRBrain™ runs on third-party virtual reality devices (including Meta Quest/Oculus headsets).

Users are responsible for ensuring their VR hardware is in safe working condition and used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
4. Intellectual Property
All content within VRBrain™, including but not limited to messaging, training material visuals, branding, and software, is the property of VR Pathways Inc. and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

5. User Responsibilities
By using VRBrain™, you agree to:

6. Health & Safety Warning
Using virtual reality technology may cause nausea, dizziness, motion sickness, disorientation, eye strain, or other discomfort. These effects vary from person to person. By using VRBrain™, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

If you experience discomfort, stop using the headset immediately.

Ensure you are in a safe environment free of obstacles while using VRBrain™.

Consult with a healthcare professional before use if you have a history of seizures, vertigo, or other health concerns.
VR Pathways Inc. is not responsible for any discomfort, injury, or health-related issues that may arise from the use of third-party VR hardware.
7. Recommended Use
VRBrain™ is designed for short, guided sessions. Extended use of virtual reality technology may increase the risk of eye strain, fatigue, motion sickness, or disorientation. We recommend limiting use to 20–30 minutes at a time with breaks between sessions. Users should listen to their bodies and discontinue use immediately if they feel discomfort.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for damages arising from your use or inability to use VRBrain™, including but not limited to injury, self-harm, data loss, device malfunction, or psychological distress.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. While VRBrain™ is available to users across North America, any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, unless otherwise required by local law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of VRBrain™ after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

REQUIREMENTS
General Hardware Requirements & Liability Statement
This statement (“Statement”) applies to all applications, training modules, and digital services offered by VR Pathways Inc (“we,” “our,” “us”) including, but not limited to, VRBrain™ and VR EchoPro™ (collectively “the Apps”). It outlines the minimum hardware requirements for use of our Apps and sets forth important limitations of liability.
Hardware and Connectivity Requirements

VR Headset: Our Apps are designed for use with Meta Quest (formerly Oculus). Users are responsible for ensuring they have a compatible, properly functioning headset.

Internet Connection: A stable Wi-Fi connection is required for login, updates, and analytics transmission.

Device Maintenance: Users and organizations are responsible for maintaining their hardware, including software updates, battery charging, and physical hygiene.

Environmental Safety: Users should ensure they have adequate physical space and a safe environment free of obstacles before beginning any training session.
User Responsibilities

Health and Safety: Users must follow manufacturer guidelines for VR headset use, including recommended session length, breaks, and health advisories (e.g., for epilepsy, dizziness, or motion sensitivity).

Proper Supervision: Organizations are responsible for supervising trainees and ensuring the Apps are used appropriately within their workplace or training setting.

Login Credentials: Access is restricted to authorized users. Credentials must be revoked when a user leaves an organization.
Limitation of Liability
By using any of our Apps you acknowledge and agree that:

Assumption of Risk: Virtual reality training can be physically and emotionally immersive. Users assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to motion sickness, disorientation, or emotional triggers.

No Warranty on Hardware: We do not manufacture, sell, or warrant VR headsets or other hardware used to access our Apps. Any issues with hardware must be addressed with the hardware manufacturer.

Connectivity Issues: We are not responsible for interruptions or failures caused by a user’s internet connection or equipment.

Indirect Damages: We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our Apps or associated hardware.

Emergency Services: Our Apps are training tools only and are not a substitute for real emergency communications. In an actual emergency, users should contact local emergency services immediately.

We also combine and identify data across all users to track wellness trends, measure platform effectiveness, and improve features. This aggregated data cannot be used to personally identify any individual.
